Megastructures: Singapore’s Vegas

Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands is one of the world’s most complicated construction projects.

Produced by NHNZ

Engineers have to build not one but three skyscrapers that will shoulder a Skypark as big as an aircraft carrier.

They have to devise ingenious solutions to assemble a 60-metre tall museum of impractical dimensions, install giant artworks, and erect seemingly “floating” pavilions for shopping and entertainment.

If engineers succeed, they will create a virtual city unto itself.
