Chile’s Atacama

This film follows a group of animals over 24 hours living in and around the driest desert region on Earth: the Atacama in northern Chile.

Produced by NHNZ

A group of hardy survivors live here, between the rich Pacific Ocean and the foothills of the Andes. Weird rabbit like rodents, a big cat, hump-less camelids, iconic dancing birds and even penguins battle against the odds in a land of extreme heat and cold.
