The Haddon family are synonymous with Pakiri, at the northern fringe of Hauraki Gulf. Like other places in the gulf, they have watched with growing concern as the marine realm has gradually declined. From a never-released archival interview with Laly Haddon, now deceased, and a new interview with his daughter Olivia, we discover what growing up on the shore of Pakiri was like, and what has changed since.
