Auckland Zoo calls on govt to ban all fireworks

As fireworks go on sale today ahead of Guy Fawkes, Auckland Zoo is calling for them to be banned and is urging the Government to take action. The Zoo says fireworks cause distress, injury and even the deaths of animals and it's asking people to refrain from letting them off near the facility. Auckland Zoo director Kevin Buley told our reporter Louise Ternouth it's an issue that's getting worse each year.
