Farmers say it will take years to recover from flooding

A week after heavy rain and flooding started in Auckland, our reporter Sarah Robson headed to farms at Kawakawa Bay, near Clevedon, and found there's still a lot of cleaning up to do.

The storm damage was declared a medium scale adverse event by the Primary Industries Minister, Nathan Guy, yesterday, triggering extra government help and support for those who have been hardest hit.
