A Raglan company has created a drone to help with conservation work overseas. Aeronavics was approached to design a drone that would assist specialists in tracking rhino poachers in South Africa.

Aeronavics was approached to design a drone that would assist specialists in tracking rhino poachers in South Africa. 

There are more than 1000 poaching incidents a year in South Africa alone, but it’s hoped the new drone, ‘Rhino Bavi’, could be adapted on a wider scale.

To explain how it works, we’re joined by Aeronavics director Linda Bulk.
