Nisha Ravji’s hope for the future of New Zealand is that we continue to celebrate love no matter what we identify with or where we come from.
For this project, Nisha Ravji took out the Nikon D90, with the versatile Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G.
In a country like New Zealand there’s every chance the person you fall in love with has a varied and interesting background. Ravji’s passion for wedding photography stems from the way her subjects not only represent who they are, but also their culture.
“Long may we continue to be a nation where we have the human right to love whomever our heart desires,” says Ravji.
Ravji photographed unique couples and families, each with their own origins, all celebrating love their way.
