A better way to educate.
Produced by Better Ancestors
In episode 2, Better Ancestors sits down with Dani and Nelson Lebo, who run Whanganui’s The Eco School. Their education centre provides both forest school and permaculture education programs. In the first of two parts, we follow a day of forest school, where we learn of the remarkable benefits this form of education provides young learners, and how schooling outside creates a lifelong commitment to guardianship, kaitiaki, of the natural environment. Dani and Nelson are inspiring, challenging us to consider how we teach ourselves and our children to think and act long term.
